Hooray! Just spotted that, and put it to use, a few minutes ago. Many thanks for restoring a useful function. I'm hoping buyers will now go back to using Ping, now they won't have to fret about overpaying postage.

Hi Michelle, I've had a good try with My Products, but if you're a casual seller like me - selling a few small, one-off items and shipping mostly by regular post - it's just not suitable. The options are too rigid and don't allow sellers to offer a mix of regular post, parcel post and courier options. 

Thanks flossy63!That explains why some of my favourite sellers still have the old shipping options ... I guess it also means it's too late for me if I want the older, more flexible option! 

Thanks for the responses - it's weird, but I now get bid history on some listings and not on others. I got a response today from Trademe saying they are rolling out changes category by category, which explains it - but it also suggests that eventually there won't be bid history on any listings? I hope it doesn't end up like ebay, where bidders are always hidden - making manipulation and bid-rigging easy for unscrupulous sellers.

Hiya kerpetclearout - S is right, I got combined shipping (and my other old options) back yesterday when I went back to an old listing and clicked on "sell similar". That didn't work a few days earlier so something has changed in the past 24 hours. Hopefully it will work for you too. I looked into My Products, which does allow combined shipping, but in other ways it is just as restrictive when it comes to shipping options. 

Hiya L, I didn't have the 'combined' option with the new shipping options, but my old options (including combined post) returned when I used the "sell similar" button on an old listing yesterday. I'd been trying that for days and it hadn't worked before. It's all very odd. 

Thanks Callum, I did find the combine shipping option after a better look, but using "economy" to describe regular letter post doesn't work, because that's the same term NZ Post uses for its cheapest Parcel Post rate. So you end up with multiple price options all called "economy". (For regular mail, for economy Parcel Post urban, and for economy Parcel Post rural). But it may not matter now, it appears combined post and flexible shipping options have returned for casual sellers, so that's great! 

apex81 it looks like the shipping options change has been reversed! At least I'm back to being able to offer multiple options (including regular post)  and combined postage. Seems to have happened in the past 24 hours. Hopefully it's not just a short-term thing.
