“Competition runs from 6 October - 5 November 2025 (which is logical, as October had 31 days)” But I get the email the FOLLOWING day, so yesterday on the 5th I got the Congratulations email for the PREVIOUS day which was number 30.
Btw just realised you could NOT have had 31 yesterday as number 31 only appeared today.
The email comes the next day, so mine yesterday said 30. I assume tomorrow’s will say 31. Maybe your emails arrive earlier than mine so yesterday you got 29?
How many are in your watch list?
In 20 years maybe 2 people have taken up an offer, so not worth it. Most seem to be others selling or intending to sell the same thing and wanting to know what it sells for.
I asked the same. TM is seriously bad in listening to user feedback …
Sigh. I WAS talking about casual sellers and those having a clean-out or having to clear a household. I wish commenters thought of others before posting. Flossy, if you do not want the "Buyer can make offer" option then leave it OFF - is that so hard to do? Why NOT give people who want it the option?
Thanks. As far as I can tell in-trade sellers have their own Trademe system for selling now, so there should be no problem with implementing it - not that I keep my hopes up the way Trademe ignores all the good advice given on the forums. It also makes no sense to not let in-trade sellers make offers …
The problem is that TM quotes are just estimates, the actual postage can be more. Sometimes couriers raise prices - I once had to pay over $10 more than TM estimated because of that.
What Callum and S say is not quite correct. You CAN still open your old listing (I just opened an old listing from June 8th to test) and click on "Sell Similar" or copy the text and start a new one - just look for the "your auction closed" message from Trademe and click on the link in there.
