I just had a confusing experience using autobid in trademe.  When you bid on a car trademe suggests a bid $50 higher than the last bid.  My intention in using autobid was to let autobid make automatic bids like that with a maximum of say $25000.  The bid at this point was $16,100 and with selecting autobid I expected my next bid to be $16,150 etc. To my surprise my bid was shown to be $25000 instead!!
