Is it possible to search the watchlist?
Yes, as I mentioned in my last comment, make it mandatory for negative or neutral feedbacks only. 99.9% of positive feedbacks are meaningless.
Not sure what you mean by "meaningless". To me a rating is all I need to decide if I can trust a trader. I only ever read the feedbacks if the rating is poor. Maybe feedback should be mandatory for negative and neutral ratings, but optional for positive rating.
Why do we HAVE to write a feedback after a trade? Why can't we pick a rating and leave the feedback blank? If there's something special about the trade that the buyer/seller wants to especially mention, they're free to do so, but a mandatory feedback simply means that 99% of them are just standard robotic BS. For example, for the past few years I've simply been writing "Thumbs up!" for every single trade LOL.
Okay thanks for the explanations. That brings up another question - why is my account is considered "In Trade"? 99 percent of my listings are for used items I not longer need. I'm not "in trade" at all. I should be considered a casual seller.
The "Allow buyers to make an offer" option doesn't work. In fact, the option does not save at all. I can check that option, and save the listing, but it'll be unchecked if I edit the listing again. Also this option only seems to be available on the phone app. I don't see this option when trying to edit a listing in the browser. Weird.
Okay that makes sense.
Okay I know why I "missed" it. I actually wasn't even looking for it, because in the past I've always simply click reply to the confirmation email and I'll get the seller's email in the recipient field because the "reply to" email is set to the seller's email. However, for shopping cart purchase, it's set to "do-not-reply@trademe.co.nz", and when I see that, I simply thought there was no seller's email given at all for some reason.
OMG, can't believe I missed that! Sorry for this pointless thread lol.
Yes most likely. But TM really should include seller's contact details in the confirmation email, like they do for normal auctions. It also doesn't help that in the confirmation email you have instruction like this "If you haven't been contacted within seven days, please let us know". That implies for whatever reason I have to passively wait for the seller to contact me, because even if I wait for seven days and got nothing from the seller, the suggestion is not for me to contact the seller directly, but to contact TM. Makes zero sense.
