Buyer doesn't need seller's driver's licence. Buyer completes MR13B form to get their name put in as new owner, but if they don't do this, seller is still liable for any fines incurred. Seller completes another form to let LTSA that there is a new owner. I wouldn't give my driver's licence to anyone - hello...identity theft.

If you click on the buyer's payment, doesn't their bank account number show up on the screen? It does for Kiwibank accounts.

I don't think trade me realizes that sales are going to be down, due to less sales in that buyers can't pay by internet banking. Have they thought of that????? So that will be less fees rort for them as no one will be buying. Unbelievable in this day and age that you can't pay by internet banking! Not everyone has a credit card.
