So Im intrade- for all the people who cant pay cash or dont trust PING - can we put a sentence like "Plz tick pickup if wishing to pay by  internetbanking  I will contact your with bank details".....  ????

This dumb move by trademe actually has me seriously considering my future  selling - its so unjust and depressing.

Been a trader for 20yrs.  I offer PING and bank transfer NOT cash - just sold 2 items to 1 trader they clicked PP on both - so now Ive paid a fee on a postage quote  that won tbe paid to me- as I can combine.  MY friend who also does trade me does not have a credit card MANY people dont like to  load card details on line  it can be risky and its not trusted. The elderly also dont do PING sometimes how can they pay when Im near Hamilton and theyre in Wellington????????cash? in the mail????  There is so much wrong with this new  proposal rule.   I understand using PING to protect sellers but ...

Got my confirmation email back from comcom....... fingers crossed they can do something. I think buyers are also going elsewhere - as my sales used to be $1000 a week, last week was $250.I do saleson Facebook to but have startd to wonder why my sales are down-also postage costs are high so again Fb is good as locals can collect....... trademe MUST be noticing the difference?????????

STEREOTYPES   Trademe has always been post with in   3 days which I personally dont think is to much to ask. As for  putting in your listings your will not be responsible for damage caused in the post -  it has been trademes view at least 5 years that seller much pack items to ensure they're not broken - if they are broken u must refund as you failed in packing it correctly and adequately - I have found this out thru experience, and had the discussion with them about it. If u have something expensive and FRAGILE then it must be pick up - not exceptions.

JAY  I think you will find that 5% thing to be very illegal - power companies used to do it similar - imagine if KMART upped their toy prices  5 % then offered by  5% disc - youd be pretty annoyed!
