Just a heads up I have just had to change 721 auctions as Afterpay had been selected on all of them over 600 were 2.50 pks of seeds and Im not paying afterpay on those Its taken me ages to go through and sort If this changes back forcing afterpay on us I will be stopping selling today
Interesting I got an email from Stripe a payment app we used to use. Wonder if trade me will pass the savings on to us We're lowering our card processing fees in New Zealand starting 1 December 2025. The Commerce Commission of New Zealand is reducing the caps on interchange fees, and we're passing these savings on to you.
I have to agree about the fees on postage charges Trademe seem to forget that we have to buy courier bag theres the ink for printing the labels packaging envelopes etc . I know some people charge ridiculous amounts for postage. They should be targeting these people . Do they think we just put he product un packaging in the mail or maybe they think all the courier bags packaging are free. I have been trading for 19 years now and ive have enough we are selling out and closing down over net 12 months it isn't worth it to line the pockets of the greedy and work your arse off for making not...

Clearly we are all upset with the changes, what are we going to do. How many have contacted the news media, how many have sent the letter to mem mem. Taking our auctions down only affects us . So I would love for everyone to send the letter. And contact media. If this is an illegal move then we need to know. It is certainly immoral . We have started moving to marketplace but why should we, it’s just greed and if trademe cared about there sellers after reading this they would reconsider. Wonder if you can mark no pick ups then activate cash
I hear ya. Starting to create my own website tonight . Sadly they know we won’t stop but maybe we should all take our auctions down for a weekend

I can see people adding cash and an explanation in each auction that they dont allow pick up but just chose cash and have the bank details emailed. I have already emailed a lot of my reg buyers that use Internet banking and explained . TM reconsider this
