Rural Postage Option: Just gotta have another moan with this new template. Have slowly been changing some of my stock over but once again I get customers who are rural and they go select Nationwide (cheaper option). They DO NOT read any further with selecting the Rural choice, all they see is Nationwide. If you want to use your own wording do not click on Use Shipping Template as that is what TM have taken over. Select Specify Shipping Cost and set up your own wording in that. Hope it helps.

Thanks 123 kitchens. will the adding a . or something extra help make the changes right away ? I've done the bulk update but the postage changes only update once the auction relists not immediately.
Yes, you have to select the option in MP "Specify Shipping Cost". The only downside is you have to wait for your auctions to end then relist to have it auto updated. I'm actually opening up each auction (almost 500) then saving them to have the update happen right away.

I have one sized pack and I just need customers to choose Courier, Parcel Post or Rural and I only use one firm so it's easy for me, but if they do bring in the Envelope option on the template then the annoying thing is, that will show as the cheapest shipping but the longest 3-5 days delivery and that's going to make some customers go away from my listings as they want 1-2 day courier . Thanks Gary and I did not know that each Area/Island did see a different pricing structure. After 15 years of selling on TM I was never aware of that :-) But is that only if you use the actual courier pickup option that TM have been offering for ages. I have never used that as I have a good service via online booking through NZ Post website and don't use any other couriers.
Gary I'm doing a browse through the product area I sell in and what I see there is what the customers see. I only use a Nationwide charge as the size of bag I use is the same cost nationwide. BUT I would prefer if the Delivery time showed the: 1. quickest time frame choice and 2. the cheapest time frame choice. This is surely more informative to customers which is the purpose of this template upheaval. A Free text area is still the ideal option for us sellers to inform buyers of real information.

BUT they actually put me at a disadvantage as it is only showing the cheapest and longer option. I offer a 1-2 day courier or express as they label it and also a 3-4 day standard Parcel Post. When customers look at my auction list they are only seeing the lesser priced option of 3-4 days and that would cause a lot to keep on scrolling as most customers want the 1-2 day delivery. If you want to use your own wording do not click on Use Shipping Template as that is what TM have taken over. Select Specify Shipping Cost and set up your own wording in that. Hope it helps.
