My ping account showed no movement but someone had got into in and started buying small and building up in amounts once they knew their scam was working.  They stopped the purchases showing up in my Ping account and we only saw what was happening when we checked something else on our Visa account.  Our Visa card was stopped by the bank and a new one was issued.  Trade Me promised they would refund the over $1000 that was already charged but it was a battle to get the money into our account before the Visa payment had to be paid. In twenty years trading through Trade Me, I have had only one problem with a bank transfer and that was where the lady muddled the numbers.  With Ping our account with Trade Me was hacked repeatedly and over $1000 was stolen from our Visa account but nothing showed up on my Trade Me account, we only discovered this when we were checking the Visa statement.  Yes Trade Me refunded the money but we had to go through hoops to get it.  I consider Ping to be flawed and I shall stop selling on Trade Me after the 15th of March when Trade Me forces us to use Ping.  I think Ping is just another money...
