I still can't believe that way over a year ago when this problem existed in which they knew about it still hasn't been sorted ? Why should traders that use desk top have to revert to the mobile version to be able to see what they purchased ? Absolutely ridicious !
Yes I have noticed this as well.A previous intrade seller who sold books disabled their account & set up another account that is a "casual" one.They sell exactly the same as before & even had their old listings as auctions.The silly thing about it is their TradeMe name is exactly the same as their previous name but have added one number at the end of it instead.They have their bank account details on their auctions also which I thought was a no no.
So what you're saying "S" is that old style desktop site will be phased out & that every single user will have to go to the mobile site ? The problem is that like many other traders on this site WE HATE THE NEW VERSION.SO MANY FEATURES ARE MISSING & SO MANY GLITCHES.Good I got that off my chest.
I still believe like Westham60 has mentioned that shipping costs should be compulsory on all auctions with "ping".What's the point of being covered from a buyers perspective if ping is used & of course all auctions now have "ping" as a option if there's no shipping in the shipping details.Many traders avoid the ping fee by stating it in the auction description itself which makes a mockery of the "buyer protection" as buyers won't make two payments,one for ping & then the shipping balance to their bank accounts.Yes I agree TradeMe should have left "bank deposit/transfer" as a option but it's...
Tonight I had a similiar experience.I won an auction which has a reference number of KP-**** & can't be viewed on my laptop (desktop site).I can only access the auction in my sold items on my mobile.Tried to bid before on "Bid Bud" but it wouldn't allow me as it states that TradeMe has changed their rules around bidding from this site ! Once the auction finished it also vanished from my lists.Not sure what's going on but it's a bit of a worry as when Trademe brings in new features,glitches start appearing regularly.
There's sellers out there offering "ping" as a payment but don't have the shipping auctions in that section.They have the options next to the description to save them success fees on the shipping costs which is quite silly in my view as a ping payment only covers the item & then the buyer has to make a separate payment for shipping.Very messy !
Everytime there is a postage price increase the headquarters of TradeMe must rub their hands together as they make more profit from shipping.And that's by doing nothing.
Thanks Gary for your suggestion.It's a bit beyond me exporting/copy e.t.c. to a spreadsheet.Unfortuately I didn't stay at school long enough to learn all the tricks of the trade involving computers/internet techology.What I lilked about Bid Bud is you could create templates easily using freeform text.And it is brilliant at bidding on your behalf a couple of minutes out from the end of the auction when you're away from the computer.But with all the changes to the TradeMe site (most were unnecessary) the creator of Bid Bud can't continue the site for much longer.He created a site that was SIM...

I have found it works if I don't change the catagory.For cds for example if I use the Duplicate feature & list in the say for example S for Simple Minds & then want to change to M in the cd catagory it wont duplicate the shipping.I have to fill it in all over again.But if I leave it in the S catagory (original) the shipping remains.I then have to go back to TradeMe & edit the catagory to the correct one.I have looked at the templates on My Products & there's no way of saving my own shipping details.Just the standard courier options & book a courier options.Oh we...
Yes.The same thing is happening with me.But don't worry all known glitches are being dealt with swiftly by their hardworking techs. Oh hang on some of these glitches have been here for over a year ... & counting.
