Everything returned to normal about mid-morning.The courier driver came here 3 times. The first was for all the glitches that had somehow produced pickup orders. The second when the driver was instructed to come back & pickup the parcels for their boss even though their was no attached info. to them as I hadn't successfully booked any.And the third was to pickup 3 parcels that I had got ready after finding out what I had booked after talking to one of their reps on the phone for half an hour.In the meantime I had got thru to a trademe rep. & they told me to go ahead with rebooking as the NZ P...

To add insult to injury I had the courier deiver turn up this morning saying their was 40 + parcels to pickup ! I didn't book anything successfully & I wasn't charged & yet they claimed I did but the stupid thing is most of the parcels booked are from the same auction i.e. one had 20 + bookings. The person I spoke to at our local depot can't explain it ! Major glitches on TradeMe !

Just tried now to book.No luck.Come on TradeMe ! This issue has been going almost 24 hrs.Not acceptable. If NZ Post get overloaded now what's going to happen once all mail is dropped off by the courier service as the local postie as we know it is being phased out !!!!!!

Hi George. You have been lucky if you have only struck this problem 3 times this year. This happens regularly to me.It does eventually come right though after a few trys.It rarely happens for the whole day ! And yet where's the notifications ???????

The thing that annoys me the most is that there's no notice of this anywhere to say that the NZ Post courier option is down ! It's been down since this morning, absolutely ridicious.Aramex must be rubbing their hands with excitement as they must gain a few more orders when NZ Post is down (Which is becoming more & more common).

Just tried booking & yes no NZ Post options. It's funny that Aramex never seems to be affected. You would think they would be more popular with their cheaper rates but they are never "over-loaded".You would think that TradeMe wouldn't allow third party sellers to book that don't even sell their items on this site if their appears to be a overload but no they don't.I personally would be looking after their customers that make them their profit !

Yes that is true when a buyer uses ping as payment. You can get your success fees back on the extra shipping but unfortuately the vast majority of buyers that keep on choosing the multiple shipping options pay by internet banking ! Some that wanted to pay by ping realise they have to pay for multiple shipping every time & so do internet banking instead, even after me e-mailing them to say I can refund all the postage. The real painful ones are the buyers who have a rural adress & keep on choosing the $12.50 rural fee multiple times & then pay by internet banking.I believe the seller should not...

There's still a few buyers out there that choose the combined rate every time they buy something & then want everything sent together in the same package. They do that even though I have the 0.00 postage rate if paid for the correct combined rate. And every one of my auctions states to only choose the combined rate once & then 0.00 after that. And some of these buyers are seasoned traders with many feedbacks. So they either don't know about the fees that "intrade" sellers have or don't care.Yes you can apply for a refund of these fees but many sellers including me can't be bothered filling out ...

Wouldn't you now.I tried again this morning before going to work & now the adress has been acknowledged so I was successful in "booking a courier".Must have been a TradeMe glitch last night.Didn't have to change the adress at all, just the original one sent by the buyer.I wasted an hour last night trying everything.Oh well all's well that end's well.

The stupid thing is that it will allow me to get to the usual options with NZ Post & Aramex & then when I submit the button I get " The pick up or delivery address needs updating" Usually if the adress is wrong it goes straight to this rather than going to the next stage.
