The buyer can still contact trademe even after 30 days & lodge a dispute.After 3 & a half months I heard from the TradeMe disputes team saying that a "recent sale" I kid you not,that is the language they used,where a buyer was unhappy with a dvd set.They claim the dvds don't work.Never heard from them at all in that time.According to the dispute team I have to sort it out with the buyer.I replyed by saying surely not,not after 3 months when they could have watched the dvds a dozen times over.At first one of the TradeMe reps. said it was up to me whether I contacted them all not.I chose not ...
I agree with Callum.Sellers should not be adding a $1 to every purchase on top of the original combined rate on small items.This to me indicates they are profitting on shipping.The whole idea of "intrade" sellers being charged success fees on shipping was to stop this.Oh wait that's right,from what I've seen a lot of casual sellers are doing this !!!
Yes it is still happening.Once auction has finished with sellers using the new site it vanishes off your lost list.I thought it was just on desktop but I had multiple auctions on my watchlist that went unsold that have now "Vanished" from the mobile app..The only time it doesn't disappear is if you win the auction but only then it is only visible on the mobile app. of my phone.I'm beginning to think it's only me & a few other traders like 'Fonncya" above as I never see the serial "fix it up" fellow trademe members ever mention it ? Yes it is what version the seller has listed the auction.Any auction with a reference number of KP-***** does not show up on desktop whether you have won it or not.It only shows up on the new version app. on my phone.I won a auction,paid for it straight away & then when the parcel arrived I had no idea what it was as I had forgotten I had won it as I do most of my transactions on my laptop (desktop) & it was wasn't on my won list.TradeMe has known about this glitch for many weeks now & don't seem to be in no hurry to fix it !!!! Hi Andrew.If you were to close down "Bid Bud" I would most certainly stop buying stuff on this site as your site is easy to follow & navigate.I use your site for everything including listing all my items.And being able to bid with the auto setup means you don't even have to be on line watching the auction live.I certainly won't be using the "auto-bid" feature on TradeMe as like many others I like to bid in the last ten minutes of a auction.Not seven days or whatever before an auction finishes.I find using TradeMe with all these so called new features hard work & with all the glitches puts m...
There are certain auctions (seems to be the new format) where you can't even place a bid on "bid bud" as it states you can't due to new Trademe rules.Anyone else experiencing this ? Just tried logging on & the site is still down.
Tonight I had a similiar experience.I won an auction which has a reference number of KP-**** & can't be viewed on my laptop (desktop site).I can only access the auction in my sold items on my mobile.Tried to bid before on "Bid Bud" but it wouldn't allow me as it states that TradeMe has changed their rules around bidding from this site ! Once the auction finished it also vanished from my lists.Not sure what's going on but it's a bit of a worry as when Trademe brings in new features,glitches start appearing regularly.
Wouldn't you now.I tried again this morning before going to work & now the adress has been acknowledged so I was successful in "booking a courier".Must have been a TradeMe glitch last night.Didn't have to change the adress at all,just the original one sent by the buyer.I wasted an hour last night trying everything.Oh well all's well that end's well.
The stupid thing is that it will allow me to get to the usual options with NZ Post & Aramex & then when I submit the button I get " The pick up or delivery address needs updating" Usually if the adress is wrong it goes straight to this rather than going to the next stage.
