Hi. If you check Trade Me buyer protection policy in the help pages, see below, it states the seller is to pay for return shipping for a not as described item. It is based on the principle why should the buyer pay anything for something they did not get. Sorry, probably not what you wanted to hear! If your item needs return shipping We expect: Not-as-described items to be returned to the seller. The seller to cover the cost of return shipping in these situations. The buyer and seller to work together in good faith, to get the item returned. Return shipping to be tracked. For items over $25...
No it isn't ok. Check out the page below in Trade Me help pages. Let her know it's against trade me T & C's. I imagine they didn't include that extra charge upfront in their auction text either? https://help.trademe.co.nz/hc/en-us/articles/360007000792-Listing-policies If they get difficult get TM to help you via Live Chat.
I had a buyer who emailed to let me know they were unable to place feedback via their phone or laptop. So not a one off. Something wrong in the system somewhere.
You can use any bag as long as it is of the dimensions shown in the book a courier system. You can even make your own out of a recycled courier bag you got something sent to you in, turn them inside out and re-use them, or any bag, make it go around again. Once again making sure they measure correctly to fit the options. If you make a 'parcel' or a box you may be charged the box rate which is more. Just make darn sure it looks like it's in a bag! :) I think if you want to buy specific Aramex bags you have to go to their website. It isn't part of Trade Me. But I have never done that.
If you have withdrawn the offer you can't send another. This from the help pages.... Can be used once per listing. If a fixed price offer isn’t accepted, you can relist. and yes, you have to edit your price, duration & who you are sending the offer to on the one page before sending the offer.
Also, I have been able to drag a photo out of my photo's (click on it first so it's larger) to desktop and reuse it from there.
Hi, If you mean the 'my photos' in TM, this function stopping working some time ago with the new look trade me. The link between the 2 seems to have gone. I keep my photos elsewhere to upload now. To delete exisiting photos in an auction click on it and you will get a delete or bin it option
Hi. If you are concerned you can click on the link in your auction that says 'remove leading bid'. then blacklist the party by going to your settings in my trade me and adding member to your blacklist. I can understand if their feedback is that bad you don't want any problems. If for some reason you can't remove the bid, contact trade me quickly via Live Chat on the contact us thingy.
In possession means they are here, right now, and you can physically put you hands on them. If the goods are overseas and you are here you are not 'in possession' of them by law. That is the definition of drop shipping.
Try not to stress too much about this. At least you have your money back. The store was honest in that regard. There are many reasons why they no longer have what you purchased. It got lost, (they go to get it in their warehouse after purchase & it's just not there) or they ran out of stock, someone listed in error. Or, with covid they could no longer get the stock? You cannot do anything about deleted feedback, but, like I said before, they were honest enough to refund you. This has happened to me as well, I was glad to have my money back so I could look elsewhere for what I needed.
