Yes Heather, this is about finding a member and as Gary has said above, using quotes can be used to refine a search of that kind. I will definitely be feeding back that this is a tip that isn't clear in the Buying guide, and that the member search is a feature that a number of you want to see back.
Kia ora Tom. Where our sellers have been the victims of a scam like this one, we will always refund the listing and promotional fees. You do not need to swallow those yourself and I'm sorry if you remain out of pocket. I'm going to get the team to contact you directly since this is something that we will need to sort for you. You can then make the choice as to whether you want to apply the promotional extras to the new listings when you relist or use 'sell similar'.
Hi Amelia, great question! There are no plans at the moment to include crypto currency as a payment method but we're certainly interested to hear members' thoughts about this.
Kia ora Terry. Yes, your bid should definitely be adjusted now that the leading bid has been removed. This isn't something that happens automatically with bid removals and auto-bids; we will need to take care of that manually for you. I'll let the team know about this, but in the meantime you can reach out on Chat and speak to an agent right away.
Kia ora Sarah, the team here contacted you yesterday morning about that enquiry - it was in fact a scam. Please reply to the email from Trade Me if you have any questions. We always recommend steering away from other payment methods such as Paypal or Western Union. If the buyer is legitimate, there shouldn't be a reason they can't pay by simple bank transfer.
Thanks for that Callum. I've checked in about this and yes, this is a bug that we're aware of and our tech team is currently working hard to get it fixed. While the listing states that the success fee refund was declined, the fee has actually been refunded. I'll add these as a few more examples of it happening.
Hi Fiona, I'm sorry this has been an upsetting trade for your daughter. If she would like to talk to us about it directly, it would be a good idea for her to get in touch with us. We can adjust the success fee for her since it sold for less than recorded.
Kia ora Jo. We do read these posts and comments, and this feedback has been passed to the Content team. 😊 Thanks to Gary for the wonderful guidance here. ❤️
Hi Brian, feel free to get in touch with our team using Chat and they can help you out with that. You won't have to pay twice for your listing. 🙂
Kia ora Brent. Sorry to read you've had a disappointment there. If bids were being placed in the final moments of the auction as you've described, this would be a case of auto-extend. If it doesn't look like it is from the bidding history, you can get in touch on Chat as S has set out above and we can look into it for you. 🙂
