The new–look Trade Me

Our desktop site is getting older behind the scenes, and needs an upgrade. We've built the new–look Trade Me to bring you a smarter, simpler, more helpful site.

 

Why we're updating our look

The new design means: 

  • Faster new features. The updated site is modern. This means we can build new features and make improvements faster.
  • Works on any screen. The new-look site  works well on all screen sizes, whether you're using a smartphone, a tablet, or a desktop computer.

How we're rolling out the new-look

We're building the new-look site bit by bit. We'll release parts of it as they're ready.

  • Some parts of the site have already permanently moved to the new-look design. 
  • You might notice that you sometimes switch between the old and new websites. This is normal. You'll simply be on the version that offers the best experience for what you're doing.

Go back to the desktop site 

To get to the desktop site, scroll to the bottom of the page and select Desktop site.

The 'Desktop site' button is the first link button from the left, in the footer of any page on our new site.

Some parts of Trade Me are now permanently on the new site. In these cases, selecting ‘Desktop site’ won't take you to the old version.

Where’s the listing number? 

The listing number has moved in the new-look design. It's now near the bottom of the page, below ‘About the seller’.

1. Go to 'My Trade Me' profile-framed.
2. Select Profile & Accountprofile-framed.
3. Select About Trade Me for iOS.
4. Select App feedback then submit your feedback.
5. Your feedback will go to our teams to review and take on board for future changes.

To give us feedback from the android app:

1. Go to 'My Trade Me' profile-framed.
2. Select Profile & Accountprofile-framed.
3. Select About Trade Me for Android.
4. Select App feedback then submit your feedback.
5. This will go to our teams to review, and take on board for future changes.
