Remove a bid you placed
To remove a bid you placed, reach out to the seller through the listing’s Questions and Answers section. Only the seller can remove a bid from their auction.
A seller can only remove your bid from a live auction. If you’ve already won the auction, contact the seller by email.
If the seller doesn’t remove your bid within a reasonable timeframe, contact our Support Experience team.
Remove leading bid from your auction
Sometimes a member may ask you to remove a bid they placed on your auction.
To remove the leading bid from your auction on the New-look site:
1. Go to My Trade Me.
2. From the left-side menu, select Items I'm selling.
3. Select the listing.
4. From the listing details page, select Remove leading bid.
To remove the leading bid from your auction on the iOS app:
1. Go to My Trade Me.
2. Under ‘Selling’, select Items I'm selling.
3. Select My details.
4. Select the listing.
5. Select Remove leading bid.
To remove the leading bid from your auction on the Android app:
1. Go to My Trade Me.
2. Under ‘Selling’, select Items I'm selling.
3. Select the listing.
4. Select Remove leading bid.
