Radio transmitters and transceivers policy

Our policy for selling radio transmitters or transceivers on Trade Me.

Our policy for selling radio transmitters or transceivers on Trade Me.

To sell unrestricted two-way radios on Trade Me, you must:

  1. Have the goods already in New Zealand and;
  2. Disclose your licence to supply number in your listing.

Unrestricted two way radios are “
prohibited equipment” in New Zealand. This means that only permitted persons are legally able to import, sell, distribute or manufacture this type of radio equipment in New Zealand.

To sell unrestricted two-way radios on-site, you must include the following statement:

“My RSM licence to supply number is [insert licence here]”

Failing to do so will result in us having to remove your auction from the site.

But if you don’t have a licence, tune into this.
