Before contacting us about an unknown charge, check the following
- Trade Me account statement
Your account statement has all credits made to your membership, and what the credit has been spent on, including listing and success fees.
You can access your account statement on our desktop site through ‘My Trade Me’ under ‘My accounts’.
If you have accidentally credited your account you can apply for a refund.
- 'Won’ items – if the charge was in the last 45 days
We offer ways to pay that use your debit or credit card. All purchased listings stay in your ‘Won’ items for 45 days after the listings closed.
- Who has access to your payment methods
Make sure no-one else has your card or bank details saved – this info may have been added to another Trade Me account in the past.
