Job Profile

To save yourself time when applying for jobs, you can keep CVs, cover letters and other documents on your Job Profile

Create or edit your Job Profile

  1. Head to 'My Trade Me'.
  2. Select 'briefcase Job profile' under 'Update my details'.
  3. Select 'Create my Job Profile'.
  4. Add your details, preferred industry and location, work experience and more.
  1. Tap 'My Trade Me' profile-framed, then select 'Profile & Account'.
  2. Under 'My Account' select 'briefcase Job Profile'.
  3. Select 'Add' or 'Edit' next to the details you'd like to change.

  3. Select 'Add' or 'Edit' next to the details you'd like to change.

Once you've created a profile, you can add:

  • Summary
  • Experience
  • Education
  • Skills
  • CV

 

Add, view, or remove documents

From your Job Profile page, select the 'CVs & Documents' tab.

Add a file by selecting the type of document you want to add, then select the option to add.

To remove a document, tick the box and select 'Delete'.

Saved CVs, cover letters, and documents can be chosen when applying for jobs.

Profile visibility

Full profile – employers and recruiters can see your profile and contact you.

Limited profile – employers and recruiters can find your profile, but can't see your info.

Hidden – your profile is hidden and can't be found or viewed by employers and recruiters.

Job Profiles can't be deleted. Instead, remove your details and documents, and set your visibility to 'Hidden'.

You can save your CVs, cover letters and other documents to your Job Profile.
