Learn how to save CVs, cover letters and other documents – with your Job Profile.
Stand out from other candidates and save time when you apply – with a Trade Me Job Profile. Follow these steps to get started.
Create or edit your Job Profile
- Go to My Trade Me.
- Select
Job Profile under 'Update my details'.
- If you're creating your profile for the first time, select
- Fill in your personal details, preferred industry, location, work experience, and more.
- Tap My Trade Me profile-framed and go to Profile & Account.
- Under 'My Account' select briefcase Job Profile.
- If you're creating your profile for the first time, select Create Job Profile.
- Add or Edit the details you want to include.
- Tap My Trade Me profile-framed and go to Profile & Account.
- Under 'My Account' select briefcase Job Profile.
- If you're creating your profile for the first time, select Create Job Profile.
- Add or Edit the details you want to include.
Once your Job Profile is up and running, you can include:
- A catchy Summary – to grab employers' attention.
- Your work Experience – to showcase your expertise.
- Education – to highlight your qualifications (optional).
- Skills – to let employers know what your strengths are.
- Your CV.
Add, view, or remove documents
- From your Job Profile page, select the CVs & Documents tab.
- To add a document, select the type of document to add, then upload.
- To remove an unwanted document, tick the box and select Delete.
Visibility
Choose how employers and recruiters see your profile:
- Full profile: They can view your profile and reach out to you directly.
- Limited profile: They can find your profile, but some info is hidden.
- Hidden: Your profile won't be visible to employers or recruiters.
Can I delete my Job Profile?
Once created, your Job Profile can't be deleted.
Instead, you can remove your details and set your visibility to 'Hidden'.
