Win a year of dinners with Bargain Box terms and conditions
Acceptance of these terms & conditions: Win a year of Bargain Box dinners giveaway (Giveaway) is run by Trade Me Limited (Trade Me). By entering into the Giveaway, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you may not enter the Giveaway and you are not eligible to redeem the Prize. Trade Me reserves the right to vary, suspend or terminate these terms and conditions, the Giveaway or the Prize at any time, without notice to you.
1. Eligibility: Entry is only open to New Zealand residents who:
(a) are 18 years and over, and
(b) have an active Trade Me membership. Directors and staff of Trade Me, its related bodies corporate and any agencies or companies associated with Trade Me or the Giveaway are not eligible to enter.

2. Giveaway period: The Giveaway opens at 9:00am on 18 August 2025 (NZST) and closes at 11:59pm on 31 August 2025 (NZST) (Closing Time).
3. How to enter: To enter to win, you must complete a purchase of any general item on Trade Me and pay with Ping before the Closing Time (an Entry). You may enter the Giveaway multiple times by purchasing multiple general items on Trade Me and paying with Ping.
4. Prize:
(a) There will be one winner. The winner (Winner) will receive a Bargain Box promo code which will cover a Bargain Box 5 nights for 4 people plan for 52 consecutive weeks, including shipping costs. (Prize). The Prize will be emailed to the Winner.
(b) The Winner can use the promo code to set up a subscription with Bargain Box. The promo code must be used within one month of being provided to the Winner.
(c) The Bargain Box 12-month Prize Subscription Terms and Conditions, set out below, will apply, and the Winner must accept those Terms and Conditions to receive the Prize.
(d) The Prize is not redeemable for cash.
5. Winner notification and announcement: Trade Me will select a Winner from all eligible Entries at random and notify them via their Trade Me member email address. Trade Me reserves the right to select another winner if an initial Winner does not respond within 72 hours of notification. Trade Me’s decision regarding Winners is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. Publicity: Entrants agree that their name and a description of their Prize (if applicable) may be published on Trade Me’s social media, within email marketing or on Trade Me’s websites.
7. Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trade Me shall not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury whatsoever suffered by any Prize winner resulting from their entry into the Giveaway or receipt or use of the Prize (including but not limited to any direct, indirect, consequential, special, punitive or incidental loss or damages). Trade Me’s liability to any entrant or Winner will be limited in any circumstances to a maximum for all claims up to the value of the Prize.
8. Other terms: The Trade Me terms and conditions (as amended from time to time) apply with all necessary modifications to the Giveaway and (if relevant) the use of any Prize.
9. Privacy Act: Trade Me will collect and hold personal information such as name and email address in order to notify you if you win, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Terms and Conditions – Bargain Box 12-Month Prize Subscription
1. Prize Details
1.1 The Prize consists of a 12-month subscription to Bargain Box, specifically the "5 Nights for 4 People" plan, including delivery costs.
1.2 The Prize is valid for standard Bargain Box deliveries only.
1.3 The Prize expressly excludes any Extras, add-ons, surcharge recipes or the Christmas Box.
1.4 The Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and is not redeemable for cash.
2. Promo Code Activation and Validity
2.1 The winner will be issued a unique promotional code (“Promo Code”) for the purpose of redeeming the Prize.
2.2 The Promo Code must be activated within one (1) months of the issue date.
2.3 Upon activation, the Prize will be valid for twelve (12) consecutive months.
2.4 The subscription cannot be paused or extended once activated.
3. Eligibility and Delivery Area
3.1 Delivery of the Prize is subject to availability within Bargain Box’s current delivery zones.
3.2 Bargain Box does not deliver to all rural addresses in New Zealand.
3.3 It is the responsibility of the Prize winner to confirm that their nominated delivery address is within an eligible delivery area.
3.4 If the Prize winner resides in an area where delivery is not available, they must provide an alternative eligible address.

4. Recipe Selection and Deliveries
4.1 The winner is responsible for selecting their weekly recipes (where applicable).
4.2 If recipes are not selected before the order cutoff (Monday at 11:59pm prior to delivery), a default selection will be made automatically.
4.3 The default selection will be counted as part of the Prize entitlement and will not be refundable.
5. Skipping Deliveries
5.1 The winner may skip individual weeks via their online account, provided this is done before the order cutoff (Monday at 11:59pm prior to delivery).
5.2 Skipped weeks will not be refunded or credited.
5.3 The 12-month subscription period will continue irrespective of any skipped weeks.
6. Exclusions
6.1 The Prize does not include:
(a) Any Extras or additional items (including but not limited to surcharge meals, additional extra items such as food, snacks or pantry items); and
(b) The Christmas Box or any limited edition or seasonal boxes.
7. Delivery Terms
7.1 Deliveries will be made on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday, depending on the delivery slot availability for the delivery address.
7.2 If a scheduled delivery falls on a public holiday, My Food Bag reserves the right to reschedule delivery and will provide reasonable prior notice.
7.3 The winner may select a preferred delivery window, subject to availability in their delivery area.
8. Cancellation and Forfeiture
8.1 If the Prize is not activated within 1 month (1) month of issue, it will be deemed forfeited.
8.2 No refund, extension, or replacement will be provided in the event of forfeiture or cancellation by the winner.
8.3 My Food Bag reserves the right to cancel or suspend the Prize in the event of suspected fraud, abuse, or breach of these Terms.
9. General
9.1 By accepting the Prize, the winner agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
