Thank you Shane for your reply, very helpful. If i was to add Afterpay and adjust my prices up just a little i am not too concerned as i tend to price them on the low side at the moment - thanks again for your insight - really appreciate it.
Hi - can i get people's thoughts and findings on the benefits or not of increased sales if you add Afterpay to low price items - eg clothing from as low as $7. to eg Pottery from say $14. Can anybody confirm if people use Afterpay on items say from $5. to $40. ? and do you definitely have more buyers on those low $ prices. I am wondering whether to add the Afterpay option (meaning i would probably add say $1-2 more to start or buy now price to cover the increased fees). Thoughts and findings please - thank you :)
this is good to remember - i get abit anxious the few times i have agreed to put up a 'buy now' that the person requesting it may miss out if someone 'jumps' in - i guess the answer to that is the 'make an offer' option :)
thank you Gary-...
Hi - i just want to clarify - if a listing has a start price (which is also the reserve price) and a buy-now price - then if a bidder bids on the start price - does that automatically remove the buy-now option ? thanks
has this kicked in for everybody ? - i am waiting a payment (transfer from trade me (ping) to my Bank A/c requested over this weekend - no show yet :/ (was looking forward to everyday banking but ?)
effective from 26th May
yes i am thrilled with the changes, i have often thought it doesn't make sense not transfering moneys over the 'weekend' hours and days - abit archaic for todays world - so very pleased now :) i think the changes take effect during the month of May (perhaps in the 3 week of May sometime ?) - not sure if within an hour though or just several times a day ?
