I’ve had this happen about three times in the last month, either they don’t send or send via trade me and the address details are blank! If they don’t respond to emails within 3/4 days as a last resort I post feedback (usually negative to get their attention) asking for address, asking for them to check emails including junk!
As a rule I don’t do them, but in the odd occasion I do (when people ask) and only do them for one day. Generally they dont accept the fixed price offer.
For me as a trader it depends on the size of the item, I sell a lot of clothing while one item may fit into a small post bag ($6.35) two items wont, and it may have to go into a larger bag which is $10.00. I generally put can combine postage where possible. If you are ever unsure, then the question box is great place to ask.
It's expensive and they already take a success fee, if you are like me and list item cheap (usually a $1 reserve) then you can end up with tiny amount. I would say majority of people have internet banking so making an online payment should be an issue.
I hate pickups for this very reason!!! I put three days on mine and think that's perfectly adequate with modern technology there is no reason why payments communication etc. can't be made quickly. If they know there is going to be a delay in collecting, then they should be asking before purchase to make sure it's going to be ok. Putting a timeline on things to be wrapped up also may be due to reasons like heading away on holiday moving etc, i wish people would stop thinking its ok to drag things out!
