There needs to be an interface. Without that interface and feedback from the designers for end use consumers there will be problems. It's the check, check, check mantra that has been mentioned multiple times on these threads. This is what is not happening with the TM code. What was originally designed worked for the areas it served - the individual seller/purchaser. As TM expanded and became a platform for businesses that should have had a complete new code and it should have been robustly tested in the lab , not having casual users test it in their normal course of operation. You have ad...
Callum, You will have to do a lot better than that. I've noticed you consistently beat the Trade Me drum. A website such as Trade Me has to be simple for not only users but for coding staff to maintain. Currently the coding is over bloated with items totally unecessary for its function. Why when I could place an autobid and the page notified that had been accomplished now I get a further email stating 'Yay you have successfully created an autobid'. I mean really, is that a requirement? It's just more bloat and slows the system. Every issue in this thread has been ongoing for months. There ...
Yep Same. This has been going on for more than a month. Where is the coding been done for TM - Mumbai? Any coder who cannot fix this and every other anomaly in a shift should be deep sixed.
I list items but have no indication on my summary page if there are views, watchers, bids. I have to go to each individual listing and interpret it. A very backward step. Now when an item expires I can't make a fixed price offer. Can't even access any watchers. Seems TM is hell bent on being a shop for traders of new material only. Little awareness of the second hand/used market these days. Remember how TM evolved?. After 19 years I find the new format clunky and not user friendly. Also why are there 600+ new international items listed in Antiques and Collectables/tools? Is nobody watchin...
