  • Anyone else getting this? I was looking for something yesterday and though this morning I must go back and resume my search to compare some listings I had viewed. I found it really hard as interspersed in my recently viewed items were my own listings, that I have not recently viewed or edited in any way.  Had this happen the other day too and gave up as I couldn't find what I knew I had recently viewed. I can't understand why my not viewed listings would be there.

  • I was out yesterday and had left my parcels out in the usual places. Got back home later on and saw they had all gone. This morning Aramex showed up to collect but there was nothing there. He showed me his scanner that they had just come through to him today for pickup even though I had booked at the weekend. I don't often use Aramex these days. NZ Post came a while later and I quizzed him and he said he picked up his parcels plus the ones in a different place too. He could not explain why, but I reinforced he only pickup his parcels in his box in future. Anyway, got on the phone to NZ Post...

  • There is no point having a badge on listings in search results that say Private Seller when it's not correct so is therefore misleading. This has been the same for several years and it's still incorrect. Please Trademe fix this. A year ago I was told "this is still sitting with the tech team to be fixed".  ALL members listings in the Industrial - Other category, and several others, have the Private seller flag on them, even though in fact the majority are In Trade sellers when you click in to them.   • I know the new shipping templates can be restrictive for some sellers, but when buyers are being shown in search results Expected delivery 2-3 business days (which includes order processing time), please stick to it. What is the point of having something completely different in payment instructions. I spent almost $1200 on 3 items yesterday from different sellers that I chose based on their shipping times as shown in search results. 1 item has been despatched already, great. 1 says in their payment instructions that December orders are despatched in 3 workings days on top of the shipping ti...

  • I received an email today In particular "With shipping estimates and upfront costs – you can be confident your gift will arrive in time for the big day." Yet, the very first page when I click the link in the email shows me heaps of items listed that have no delivery estimates? Yes, they have prices, but no delivery timeframes as suggested, as below. When I click in to some they appear to have new style shipping templates and say below the options "Estimated delivery times in business days", yet they don't show any shipping timeframes on the search? I thought it was mandatory now for Buy N...

  • The new customer service emails now contain a whole lot of extra stuff, which might help some people, BUT, there is still no copy of what we have written in the first place to know which of the topic suggestions and further help you provide actually helps. I get several of these every day and have no idea what each of them is about as there is no copy of what I wrote, just a ticket id number which is pointless as there is not even a link to that ticket.  Please in that first email you send us, add in the message we sent you.

  • Since lockdown, Trademe suspended address verification and it says on the AV page "Address Verified registration is currently unavailable." However, I see brand new members every day that show as address verified. How is it done these days? Or, does the address verified system not work or matter any more.

  • I would normally email Trademe to ask this Q but thought if it's posted here it might be handy for others to know. I bought something last week from a new member and paid by internet banking. Seller emailed back saying they would courier Friday. I emailed them Sunday asking for tracking number. Today I was checking my won items page and noticed they had -1 beside their name so clicked to see what was going on of course it just gave me the account disabled message. I placed positive feedback asking for tracking info and mentioned I had not had replies to emails and could they get back to me....

  • CSV Export - edit - import - Bulk update. How to guide. Although the bulk edit feature of My Products is extremely useful, there are times you may want to do something that's not there eg globally update prices by a % or $ amount, or simply sort your items by price and manipulate them manually. When Trademe changed to the new Shipping Templates I needed to bulk edit mine.Using procedure below I did this to several hundred listings in just a few minutes, so thought I'd share in case anyone else wants to convert a whole lot of MQL MP products/listings to the new shipping templates in bulk rat...

  • It would be good to add links in listings to the Charities that can be supported with donations. On one of my listings I created in My Products recently I chose to support Kiwis-Kiwi, per screenshot here. I went to the same listing this morning and saw it had the Save the Kiwi logo, not Kiwis-Kiwi per what I listed. Seems to have changed to Save the Kiwi. That's ok, but the old logo and wording appears in My Products still.  I tried to click the logo to verify that it was the same charity, but seems there is no hyperlink to any of the charities, and nothing in Help pages that I can find a...
