Thanks, a quick Google and a bit of fumbling and I was able to screenshot the messages and reply to the Disputes Team email. I was stuck thinking save as a pdf, not screenshot.

  • K commented,

Thanks S. I have submitted an online dispute. I don't know how to attach the direct messages between seller and myself on the TM app - if there's some way of downloading those, please let me know. I only have proof of payment date, courier booking date and one email. The juicy stuff is in the messages.

  • K commented,

I don't care about getting my money back. I have given the item away. Live Chat have referred me to the Disputes Team as Live Chat team is unable to remove feedback.

  • K commented,

No, Trade Me has not emailed me. If they had done so before removing my feedback, I would have had the opportunity to explain and provide proof. As it is, I am waiting for Live Chat to open as my last experience with opening a dispute online was very disappointing. (Trade Me allowed a negative feedback against me to stand as "it was the buyer's feelings about the trade". I guess "feelings" are facts now. Fortunately, Trade Me did remove her accusations that a deadline to pay was threatening her and that I was a "greedy and impatient seller"). I did not care to further engage with the seller...

  • K created a post,

I placed neutral feedback for a seller as she hadn't responded to me for 6 days after I paid immediately the auction closed. I had earlier tried email and messaging through TM. It was a last ditch effort to hear from her. She retaliated by placing a neutral feedback for me claiming, amongst many other false and/or unlikely excuses, that I hadn't contacted her at all. When the purchase did arrive, it had an undisclosed fault. I changed my feedback to negative, mentioning the fault and the lack of response for 6 days after I had paid. Now it seems Trade Me has removed my feedback but left her...

  • K commented,

Hi, I tried Chat before posting but they could see no issues. Tonight I was able to add credit to my account with Ping without saving my Visa info however, not able to pay for purchases until I saved the Visa info and hit reload when started its interminable "working". As mentioned earlier, I prefer not to save my credit card info to online sites, so I will be removing it shortly.

  • K commented,

Hi, I'm using a laptop. I cleared browser history etc last night. I used the card online today elsewhere with no problems. It's a mystery.

  • K created a post,

I use Ping a lot to pay for purchases but prefer to enter card details for each purchase rather than save it. Last night and again this afternoon, I tried to enter my card details (and yes, everything was correct and valid or Ping would state "invalid card" and it's not a new card and it's a debit Visa with balance to cover the purchase) and Ping just got stuck on "working".  Eventually, I removed the information and just closed down, turned wifi on and off and ran Norton scans. No problems. No deduction from my bank account or email confirming Ping purchase as it never got to the payment s...

  • K commented,

A seller has cut and pasted large parts of my listing description to his/her own listing for an almost identical item. I lodged a complaint on Sunday 12 March with Trade Me but the listing hasn't been changed. It's obviously copied - the other seller included a detail from my listing that doesn't apply to hers/his and the first line of my sale conditions! Trade Me used to be prompt at dealing with these small issues but my last experience was very frustrating as the Trade Me person couldn't see the obvious copying - think "The jug is an iridescent blue colour" changed to "The vase is an iri...

  • K commented,

Goodsound - you're talking about fixed price offers, right?  Only watchers can request a fixed price offer but anyone can request a relist so I don't understand S's comment that anyone can request a FPO. I've found it's best to ignore FPOs or only make it for one day so your time isn't wasted.  Don't bother making the FPO the same as the original starting price. Anyone who genuinely missed the auction will bid again a week later or ask for a buy-now on the renewed listing.  We already have the option of including "seller is open to offers" and watchers are fond of using the question functio...
