Thanks SJ that’s helpful. I have used Bidbud in the past but didn’t know that was an option. I contacted trademe support and they were great actually. Well immediate response, back and forth. Years ago I believe TM had a limit on how low feedback could go before you were banned from using TM. I recently sold something to someone with the feedback of 53.8% positive. I mean this is disgraceful. Surely, surely, surely, once you hit say 80% or something, you’ve proven yourself to not be a responsible TM participant. As expected, this person didn’t contact me. It makes me wonder what goes on in the head of buyers like this. They hit bid or buy now and then what, just never give it another thought? As above, unlikey they will go ahead with legal proceedings, but you will have to accept bad feedback, and not leave negative feedback in kind.
Thanks Hamish, the wardrobe app is not an email app, it's a clothes selling app. That's why it is particularly strange. I do actually have Gmail set up as my default email app. But, I have since discovered if I choose "open in Mail" (even though I don't have the "Mail" app that comes standard with iPhone anymore, I deleted it) instead of "open in Gmail" it does in fact actually open in Gmail. Go figure! Oh well. At least I can use it that way I suppose.
Good idea, but didn’t work. It linked to gmail after I deleted DW but as soon as I re installed it, it linked straight back to it.
What about anything that could be seen as a phone number, or maybe just the word ‘contact’? Try it on another browser maybe, or delete all cookies and try again?
If you don’t respond to the question, others can’t actually see the question. Only once the auction has finished so they show up and unlikely people will look. Although it is possible to see that there are unanswered questions, which can I suppose can look dodgy that you’re ignoring them.
Firstly, to provide all relevant info I use the Trademe app on my iPhone. When I go into items I’ve won and click on the email address to the seller, it asks me if I want to open Mail or Gmail. I have the Gmail app as my email app on my phone so I click that. But then instead of it opening Gmail it opens a completely different app. I don’t think what it is is relevant, but for full info, it’s the Designer Wardrobe app. I’ve checked the Gmail app settings on my phone and it’s set to the mail default app. So I don’t know what’s going on.
