Interesting, all couriers like to give their average price increase, in this case 5.1%. But if you crunch the numbers it is a minimum 5.1% with boxes in the havier part of the range going up to 5.9-6.3%. Rural up 16%. So a 5.1% with artistic license. From what I have seen of other couriers, they have been on about 4.9% this year in their price rises
Nobody is neccesarily at fault. But it maybe that the parcel is delivered and 1/ they have not found it(left behind bush of furniture for security) or 2/ somebody else in the house may have recieved it but not told reciever or 3/ it was stolen. A question to ask is how can NZ post verify it has been delivered to the named address (photo/ GPS cordinates of scanner) or just the word of the courier. It is also possible you in error put an incorrect address (if not copied and pasted from TM), or it is even possible (thinking Maliciously) the buyer selected non signature so they could recieve i...
Ive been given 4.5% on NZ post generally, with 2% interisland
Yes, its king of annoying. While all my courier stuff has TM shipping templates attached to them, I have some larger item which have to go on freight. My freight company quotes per job location( and dont produce a set of rates) so its not possible to quote as per TM shipping templates as there are many hundreds of different prices for NZ. King of between a rock and a hard spot. While I offer shipping options to main cities , business zone delivery, all other locations need to be custom quoted
I refunded somebody $83.50 as excess shipping the other day . They were soooooooooo happy and will be a repeat customer for a long time
I would say legally that Phillipa has no problem. She has promised them shipping, its up to her how she sends. The contract was to deliver it without specification of how many packages. Legally she can charge what she likes on shipping. However within trademes regulations, she cannot profit on shipping (even though TM plainly do by charging success fees on shipping, "Do as I say, not as I do comes to my mind) which she would likely be doing if she was paid 2 lots of shipping, but sent as one parcel. Morally is a different story though, and hard to justify morally. When in a dilemma of this ...
I agree with Gary here
No Amy. There is no rule about "when" you should place feedback as it is voluntary , you can place when you like or not at all. TM do however have guidlines about feedback. " General guidelines All Traders are expected to maintain a feedback rating of at least 95%. We encourage members to place feedback for all trades. Feedback is a permanent part of your Trade Me account. Negative feedback can be disputed for up to 45 days from the date of purchase. Although certain exceptional circumstances will result in feedback being removed or edited, feedback will remain a permanent part of you...
Only really 2 ways. Search your emails with key words like cat or the cats name. It may bring up trademe emails or some after sale correspondence with new owner. Also there will have been a listing fee or success fee perhaps so can click on the listing numbers within your trademe account transactions which will then show the listing title. If you dont list on TM much, it maybe simple as not many entries, if you list a lot it could be impossible with so many to check
