While there are some issues with some overseas sellers, that is really an issue for TM to monitor the issues and ensure they are not issues. I like having the overseas stuff, but the sellers need strict controlling. You have the option of searching within NZ to eliminate international traders. If they are appearing in that, then its an issue for TM to sort out. There are misleading listing both international and in NZ. International sellers are required to give their estimated ship time so you as a buyer have an idea of delivery. However anyone buying international knows the real ship time ...
But I guess its being withdrawn, as with many TM actions at present to increase the site to max profitability for sale in near future
Yes, it can be refunded straight away now callum. It changed at some stage in theses covidy times and has been that way at least 9 months.
Trademe sale has priority
Interesting, all couriers like to give their average price increase, in this case 5.1%. But if you crunch the numbers it is a minimum 5.1% with boxes in the havier part of the range going up to 5.9-6.3%. Rural up 16%. So a 5.1% with artistic license. From what I have seen of other couriers, they have been on about 4.9% this year in their price rises
Ive been given 4.5% on NZ post generally, with 2% interisland
Yes, its king of annoying. While all my courier stuff has TM shipping templates attached to them, I have some larger item which have to go on freight. My freight company quotes per job location( and dont produce a set of rates) so its not possible to quote as per TM shipping templates as there are many hundreds of different prices for NZ. King of between a rock and a hard spot. While I offer shipping options to main cities , business zone delivery, all other locations need to be custom quoted
No Amy. There is no rule about "when" you should place feedback as it is voluntary , you can place when you like or not at all. TM do however have guidlines about feedback. " General guidelines All Traders are expected to maintain a feedback rating of at least 95%. We encourage members to place feedback for all trades. Feedback is a permanent part of your Trade Me account. Negative feedback can be disputed for up to 45 days from the date of purchase. Although certain exceptional circumstances will result in feedback being removed or edited, feedback will remain a permanent part of you...
Only really 2 ways. Search your emails with key words like cat or the cats name. It may bring up trademe emails or some after sale correspondence with new owner. Also there will have been a listing fee or success fee perhaps so can click on the listing numbers within your trademe account transactions which will then show the listing title. If you dont list on TM much, it maybe simple as not many entries, if you list a lot it could be impossible with so many to check
I now have an answer. Its about 18 cents/ click. As a result of 16 clicks I sold 1 item. Sale price of item $25, cost of the 16 clicks, $4.50. So just on that trial I cannot see it being of value. The trouble is you want to promote your hard to sell items, but there is no option to select which item you you wish to promote, it promotes all of your present listings
