Just wanting to know if others have been issued these charges on their parcels. NZ post have very aggressive "cubicizer" machines which measures the weight and volume of the parcel passing down the sorting belt. If there is any parcels over weight or volume that is greater than the ticket attached, sender is charged an under ticketing penalty as well as an expensive top up ticket. If your parcel is 1% over weight or volume, it will charge you. So this is extremely harsh ( consider boxes can easily distort with other goods placed on them in transit giving larger dimensions, but also flappy...
Try to get success fee refund for a failed trade but Banana error just keeps popping up. How to overcome this? Also I note for success fee refunds that for years of getting instant success fee refunds, its suddenly changed to having to wait 3 days. What is wrong here
For the first time in 20 years of shipping, I have been given a private bag address. So is this a NZ post only address (like PO boxes), or is it open to all couriers for delivery?
TM introduced a new feedback format a while ago, which I believe was only available on phones anyway. There was very limited up take in my experience of the new format (5-10% perhaps) . But now it is basically unused. I think I have one example of the new feedback format in 3 pages of feedback. Are others finding the same situation?
Not sure if you are all aware. I think the date is June 1st it starts, that all NZ banks will be transferring money to other banks within 1 hour 24/7 . Its a great advance so nothing slowing up bank transfers from buyer to seller
Have a customer who bought a product not correct for their needs on afterpay. They would like to return it for a refund. Can afterpay be refunded? And if so are all the fees refunded to the seller or not.
This is actually for a friend who made an online purchace (not on TM) of a large item which is an unusable item (a serious fault that will be on all the production run of this item) on arrival and needs to be returned. The item is large and will cost a lot of shipping. I believe the seller is responsible for paying shipping both ways however I am trying to find the appropriate legislation that says so. This I believe was in a recent (5-6 years ago)update on online trading legislation but I cannot now find. I believe it was even in the TM help section at one time but appears have disappeared...
I am getting about 3 buyers/ week saying "sorry, TM sent the wrong address, it should be this one". So is it that I have a load of dumb buyers sending old addresses, or is trade now automatically sending addresses automatically and the buyer has not updated their Auto address. Just wondering as this was not an issue until about 6 months ago
Are courier post only able to deliver here along with NZ post, or can other couriers deliver in here. Also is signature available for these deliveries?
