If the Seller is “In Trade” then they have a Duty of Care (Consumer Guarantees Act) to ensure delivery of the item. If it’s lost they must initiate a claim with the CourierCompany which will investigate.Keep all your emails to seller to maintain a trail. Don’t get involved - with Courier Co unless you absolutely have to. If it’s a casual trader then it’s simply a matter of responsibility and courtesy for the Seller to follow up. However if you don’t get co- operation then take the reins and contact Courier Company yourself. Always keep it polite and friendly but keep your finger on the butt...
Agree with most of the above. I boxed on using half new site which flicked back n forth between the two. Didn’t realise how many of the old familiar useful features have actually been removed or made darn hard to find. Even when I do spend ages scratching around for a solution rather than use Chat. I use expired listings daily to check actual SOLD prices as a guide for my listings.. So much more useful than looking at other current listings. Cheeky Buyer… especially if they have passed on your details to others. Of course they can do what they like with the item…relist etc once they have paid for it but the decent thing to do would be for them to collect it before listing. BTW Just because they have listed it @ 4 times what they paid is kind of irrelevant if they accepted and paid your asking price they can try for the moon - doesn’t mean they will get it but it’s a free world. They do have to abide by Sellers T& C’s & TM Code of Conduct. I would insist they made arrrangements for collection ASAP otherwise it might get damaged ...
