Why do Trademe still advertise the Gold Trade rebate?

Hi Greg. Yes, there are a number of legacy issues like this on the website. Trade Me are aware of them, but for reasons you would have to ask them about they don't seem to bother actually fixing them.

Your issue was mentioned a year ago in the post below. Trade Me said they would sort it. Meanwhile a little boys waits.....

I raise again as you are correct, it’s not fixed after more than a year.

The hope would be that someone from Trademe sees this post, and jogs the memory to fix the issue.

Or do we all just sit back, keep quiet, and just accept that a commitment to fix something a year ago is satisfactory?

Probably frustrates the Trade Me staff here on Community as much as us Greg. They pass the message on to whomever is meant to fix these things, and for whatever reason, still nothing happens!

It often pays to comment back through your original Post albeit a year later - the more upvotes on the main Post at the Top of the page and the more comments a Post gathers stands out for the TradeMe Moderators attention so they can then Highlight to their Tech Teams this is a much desired feature change - The Moderators need our help here enabling them to escalate - Cheers.

I couldn't find the original post, hence posting again. I wouldn't say it's a desired feature change, more just a case of getting the basics right in terms of removing features when they are no longer available.
