Booking a courier costs more than what was on the listing
My recent auction was won by a North Island buyer, one courier fee quoted on the listing
was Courier North Island $11.43 but when I go to book the courier today after payment received the best courier rate offered on the booking is $17.64, why is the $11.43 not offered. I complained and received a credit, and was told the courier prices are a estimate, really, that is not stated any where. That is the price I emailed the buyer after the sale confirmation from Trademe and that,s what the buyer paid. Time to get your act together Trademe.
I asked that my emailed concerns be passed on to management, Reply, no I will not be passing it on

Hi Callum, there was no stipulation as to rural, rate said North Island, and it wasn,t rural. No matter that Trademe gave a price for courier that I and the buyer went buy for a total sale price.

Hi Flossy those were not the options my buyer had ! The one he picked was North Island and they were not rural. The thing is Trademe offered the cheaper price on the listing but not after the sale.

Are you sure the address is not Rural Delivery?

use the address checker and check address, it will tell you if address is rural or not,
https://www.addresscheck.co.nz/
But looks like it is a quote for Rural, you can usually get an indication by the post code you receive
a good way to spot a rural address straight off if the 3rd number is a 7, 8 or 9 in post code for example 2382, seeing that 8 tells me rural, so check online,
