How do I get photos from my phone to Trade Me (old person asking who is not tech savy)

if you are making a listing, just add photos and it will take you to your photos in your phone

Sorry, you will have to be more specific. eg 'just add photos' . If I click on the button while on trade me to add my photos Trade Me will automatically connect to my phone and I can choose what photos to add?

if you put your question into google you will get a few answers (depending on what type of phone) then just click the one that you have and it will help you upload photos

S Community SuperuserKia Ora Margaret,Are you using your phone to list items on TradeMe or are you using a Laptop/PC or ipad?If you are using your phone to list items your photo's should be saved to a photo file - when you list your item and get to the page where you browse or add photo's, clicking into those words in that space will open up your phones photo's so you can select the ones you want.If you are listing your item on TradeMe through a different device than your phone you will have to load your photo's onto the devices photo file/manager first so when you list using that device it will open the photo file of the device you are using.If TradeMe doesn't open the correct file where you have saved the photo's you will be able to choose the correct file they are stored in at that time. - Cheers.1 -
My Samsung S24FE won't allow me to open the Gallery where my photos are stored. The Media Picker only allows me to open Google Photos and I can't change the default.

Gary-NZStocked Community SuperuserBernadette, I would probably force close the app, clear your app permissions, files and cache then restart the app to see if that resets them and first time use then usually asks to assign permissions. A quick way to check it's working correctly is to click the camera icon on the main search bar and choose the Choose existing option. For me, this then brings up the options to choose either Photos Albums or cloud media app, as below. I have an Oppo Find X5.
In in a listing and I choose to edit, I choose the media picker, then get the exact same option to choose from as above.

Do you mean force close the Trade Me app and if so, does that mean I'll lose all my listings?

Yes, force close the trade me app from your settings, manage apps page. No, this will not affect anything already listed.
