Photos not uploading to listing
Hi team,
Long time trademe user here, generally have 0 issues what so ever and list plenty of things regularly.
Recently I've been having issues with adding photos to my listings so hoping for a solution.
Usually i list everything in bulk from my computer and then edit the listings and add all the photos from my phone through the trademe app.
Since last week when editing the listings and adding the photos it all appears normal and shows them as uploaded until you go back into the listing none of the photos are there.
No error messages or anything.
All photos are under 5mb.
Trademe app is up to date (Have also tried reinstalling)
Does seem to be an issue with the trademe app itself as i tried moving the photos to my computer and uploading from there which worked fine.
Not sure what to do going forward if there is anything to try!

I'm aware the system has been slow at times including the App - Have you left the window open when you go back to check all of your Listings after you've Edited them in the App? - wondering if perhaps there's a Real Slow uploading process and the images do eventually come through?
What Device App do you use with TradeMe - iOS or Android?

We also are having trouble adding photos....have tried so many times, I know the photos are there on the laptop and trademe will not add them to our listing. or indeed even show them as an option. Our listing has been live for 7 months...I can edit words but not photos so the only thing we can think of to do is to delete the post and start again but that means paying another fee. So disappointed with trademe lately.....really need an answer here.

Would this be your Motorhome Listing?
As a general rule for Motor Listings these can only be edited within the first 7 days of starting the Listing - this has been put in place for various reasons though mainly to prevent the 1 Listing having the ability to List multiple vehicles through, avoiding the Listing fee - therefore you may have to withdraw the Listing to make your photo changes before relisting - Under the circumstances TradeMe staff may be able to Help you get these photo changes up Or toward New Listing charges so you only pay once for your Listing However I would contact a staff member via "Live Chat" to confirm that first - Cheers.

Hello, when I edited a listing (wording only), then carried on through each stage with "NEXT", I went back to look at the auction and none of the photos that were on are now all gone! This happened to me about 12 times!

I am having the same problems as Mike and other users of trade me.
Very frustrating, and annoying.
Have you just simply changed the rules, and not bothered to pass on the information to your long time users?
Have never had these problems before, and I have always enjoyed my past experience's with trade me till now.
Don't like complaining, but very disappointed.

Hi I’ve just got an IPhone 15 Pro Max and have taken photos with it to list items to trade me, but when I try I get the below message
Failed to load images
File type not supportedAny help?

Refer to the Help file General Marketplace photo policy and guidelines – Help - Trade Me and go to the Specifications Link which will show you the compatible Type of the Photo file ending your photo's need to be Saved As to upload to TradeMe - Cheers.

Similar issues uploading photos… some listings have taken the photos, but for two listings I upload the photos and it looks like everything worked, but then the photos are not on the listing. (Tried from both iPad and iPhone — Same result both ways.)

Can you try loading these through the Desktop site in the interim? - Type Trademe.co.nz in your iPad / iPhone Device Browser to go to the Desktop site.
A couple of troubleshooting steps:
- Ensure your Browser/App is running the Latest up to date version - the Apps change frequently so it pays to check.
- Clear your cookies & cache.
