Ping refunds should show in your Ping account Transactions as it happens & you should also receive an email from TradeMe confirming the refund. - How long ago was the refund made?

Double check your emails for one from TradeMe - check your spam/junk folder also just in case - I would expect that refund to be showing in your Ping Transactions by now - if nothing at all contact TradeMe staff through "Live Chat" for assistance in tracking what may have happened there.
If you select the Contact us Link at the bottom of any TM page the Chat Tab will Pop up in blue at the bottom right of your landing page screen, there may be a slight delay in this appearing.
Enter in the Chat bot which comes up once the Chat icon is selected - Talk to person - you will be taken to entering your details before arriving at the window to Chat with a Real Person/Staff. - Ensure you enter your Listing or PXXX number(s) enabling Staff to pull this up readily.The manned hours weekdays are 9:30:am - 5:00pm and weekends 9:30am - 4:pm1 -

I've had a chat with Trademe and they have said it can take 3-5 days. That should be put on the Ping info or refund info on TradeMe. I couldn't find that when I was looking.

It can take 3 - 5 days for the payment to appear in your Bank account due to TradeMe & Bank processing times.
The Refund from your Seller appears Instantly in your Ping Transactions list on TradeMe & you should receive a Confirmation email of this refund made from TradeMe.
I'll put the link to your Ping Transactions below - you need to be Logged in on TradeMe to go through from the Link. - If you don't see the Refund in this Transaction List & haven't received an email from TradeMe confirming the refund is made please contact staff again through replying to the email transcript you will have received from your Live Chat and give them your Listing number - Stipulate you need to confirm the refund is in your Ping Transaction Ledger Not Bank Account.

S Community SuperuserKia Ora Tyrone,Are you waiting for your Seller to make the Ping Refund or are you waiting for this payment to come through to your Card used to make the purchase?If you are waiting for your Seller to make the refund perhaps you need to re-contact them if you haven't received a confirmation email of the refund made from TradeMe or haven't seen the payment credit notification in your Ping Transactions yet.If you are waiting for the refund to come through to your card how long ago was the refund made by your Seller? - It can take 3 - 5 days for the payment to appear in your card used due to your Banks processing times, this payment is credited straight back to the account it was paid from rather than coming into TradeMe first therefore depending on when the refund was made you may like to contact your Bank to enquire what their processing time is for these payments coming through. - Cheers.0

Hi there, I’m waiting for the amount to come through to my card. Ping sent an email saying “refund received” on the 29/07/24. Thanks a lot

I would expect that payment to have come through to your card by now also.
You will need to double check which payment card you used if you have multiple cards debit/credit which you use for purchasing on TradeMe.
Check with your Bank to enquire what processing times have been held up at their end - these payments are made directly back into the card you used to make the payment from, the payment doesn't come back into TradeMe first - the TradeMe ledger just records the transaction which took place. - Cheers.

Hi again, I apologise! I feel like an idiot; I originally payed with my CC and not my debit. Makes sense now, I hadn’t checked. Apologies for wasting time !

I agree this information should be added to the Trade Me "REFUND" pages. I could not find this anywhere. Hope those above have received their payments. It should not take so long.
