Returning item - restocking fee from seller
Hi there
I’ve bought an Epson thermal printer from The company warehouse. I received it and found out it not compatible with my machine and would like to return it. They’re asking me for 25% restocking fee (which would be more than 100, I paid 499 for the machine).
I’m happy to pay for shipping cost but really confuse about 25% they ask for? Is that allowed?

they do not have to refund at all, so I guess its down to if you want most of the money back or keep the printer - google CGA returns.

As jenquip says, yes it's allowed. For change of mind purchases the seller can pretty much set whatever "rules" they want. They only way out would be if they said or inferred it was compatible with your particular machine and you found out it wasn't.
What exactly is the compatibility issue? Are you sure you can't do something with drivers / software or even further hardware to make it work? Is it the parallel port? That can be sorted with adapters or by installing a parallel port card in your computer. Cheap as chips.
