Some Kind of Shadow Ban?
AnsweredRecently, (more than usual,) I've found that my listings rank significantly lower than other similar listings in search rankings.
Even if I temporarily use the *exact* same category, description, price and everything as a random listing above me, nothing changes (I change it back, don't worry.)
I rank far higher feedback wise than those other random listings, so that can't be a reason, and my shipping prices are cheaper. I swear it didn't use to be this hard to achieve half-decent search ranking. Does trade me shadow ban people - that's the only explanation I could think of.

Hi Shane. No, there is not any kind of shadow ban that I know of. There are many things that affect search rankings. Getting in the correct category is important. But looks like you've already confirmed that. One thing you might not be aware of is that the order of the words in your listing title can affect search result rankings. Try to get your searchable words at the start of the listing.
For example if someone searches for "widget" then "widget red extra large great condition" will rank higher than "Great condition extra large red widget"
