Editing Auto-Bid
I can't seem to edit my max limit on an auto-bid?!

Just keep an eye on the auction people like to outbid an auto bid at the close, Auto bid isn't a guarantee you will win. It just makes it easier when dealing with those people who like to let the time run down then bid at the last second, then repeat the process another 10x

Kia Ora Chaitali,
Are you on the Desktop site or on the App? - Have you attempted both ways?
- Try Refreshing your screen page.
- Ensure you're on the latest version - App / Browser.
App: - Close the App completely rather than just exiting and bring it back up.
Desktop: - clear your Browsing History cookies & cache then re-connect to TM with a fresh start.
I have not heard of any trouble with the Autobid feature though another Member may have valuable info' for you - Cheers.

I just had a confusing experience using autobid in trademe. When you bid on a car trademe suggests a bid $50 higher than the last bid. My intention in using autobid was to let autobid make automatic bids like that with a maximum of say $25000. The bid at this point was $16,100 and with selecting autobid I expected my next bid to be $16,150 etc. To my surprise my bid was shown to be $25000 instead!! Fortunately the reserve price was not reached, the auction closed, so no harm done. I sure will not autobid again!
(I was bidding on the 1947 Chevrolet tow truck. I phoned the seller to explain what happened, he was amused and won't hold me to my autobid "offer". Pffffff !)

Kia Ora jeldrick,
That is normal when placing an Autobid which is below or equal to the reserve, your maximum auto-bid is placed. - If your maximum auto-bid was higher than the reserve your auto-bid would have been placed to meet the reserve. - Had the Reserve been met and your maximum Autobid been higher auto-bids would have been placed at the suggested $50. increments against further opposing Bids made - Cheers.
