No notifications

Hi Robin check your notification settings using the settings option on Trade Me app to make sure the required options have been checked in case something there has changed.

You can also set up your account to get a range of email notifications from Trade Me if using the desktop site here https://www.trademe.co.nz/MyTradeMe/EmailOptions.aspx

I have a new phone which is probably contributing to the problem.

I have had a look and they are all ticked as being on.

The scrernshot you have shown seems to be a little bit different to the one I am seeing.

I tried the test message facility, and a notification number came up on the App icon, but nothing in the messages box.

Seems to be a problem with actual emails coming from Trademe.

I would be grateful if someone can help me further.

Do you have the same problem in not receiving TradeMe Emails if you go through your phone Browser to the Desktop site rather than through the App?

If so go to the Help Search section Problems receiving Trade Me emails

If this is only an App specific problem ensure you are on the Latest App update - these change frequently though can also pose interruption to other services which when reported to TM are corrected in the next update. - Cheers.

Robin if you click on the notifications section at the bottom of the screen on the Trade Me app does anything appear there? The notifications and messages sections are different so you need to click on the notifications section to view any notifications. When a new notification is there you will see a red number on the notification section indicating how many new unread notifications you have.

I just received 2 notifications here is a screenshot showing what it looks like.

I see you say you have a new phone have you gone into the phones settings section and selected notifications scroll down to Trade Me and make sure the push notifications option is turned on there. I believe if it’s not turned on in your phone settings you won’t receive any notifications on your phone from the Trade Me app when the app is not open.
