Scammer sending link to click on to “get your funds” in feedback
Just sold a item today and straight away got feedback from the buyer which included a link to click on to “get your funds” seemed suspicious to me so I did not click on the link and have reported it to the Trade Me Trust & Safety Team. Thought I would post about it here so other members are aware of the scam. See the screenshot below of the feedback I received.

Thanks SJ. This latest round seems to be all over Trade Me at present.
Strange how so many accounts have been hacked. It could be a brute force attack but I suspect these members are reusing passwords that have been compromised on other websites and published. The scammer then tries the same password on Trade Me.
It's a good reminder to everyone to NOT use the same password on multiple websites. If you don't want the bother of having dozens of different passwords you can use a good password manager. Most browsers and operating systems have or support them.
There are also various websites that you can check to see if your email has password leaks associated with it. The website below is safe to use. It is recommended by Cert. Our government cyber security department. Just go to the link and type in your email address to check for data breaches.

Hi Z most likely the same scammer I had their account is still currently active as of a few minutes ago with 6 negative feedbacks for purchases made today. Make sure to report them to Trade Me so they can remove their account and refund you any success fee charged.
I would get in touch with the Trade Me Customer Support Team using the Contact Us link at the bottom of any page click on the link and wait a few seconds until a blue chat bubble appears at the bottom right of the screen click on it and you will then be able to chat with Trade Me Customer Support live. They will be able to remove the scammers account and notify any affected sellers. You can use this link to the Live Chat option https://help.trademe.co.nz/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form
The Live Chat operating hours are Mon-Fri 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Sat-Sun 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

I already report him

I see the account is now up to 9 negative feedbacks so the scammer is still at it. Looks like the account has been hacked as it had all positive feedback until today. I feel sorry for the actual account holder as the scammer has completely ruined their feedback rating.

Cheers All,
Live Chat hours have changed,
The manned hours weekdays are 9:30:am - 5:00pm and weekends 9:30am - 4:pmZ,The Unsold folder is up, No crash today, try the hard refresh if clearing Cookies & Cache isn't correcting this - see if you can access through the direct Link, - Is it only your Unsold items folder having this issue? - You may like to Live Chat this one.0 -
It doesn't work, neither through direct link, neither regular one. I tried hard refresh, clear browser... Just Unsold, everything else is ok. I try with Live chat and I got generated message "it is bug in system, our stuff work hard to fix it"
