Have you placed feedback asking them to contact you re pickup and to check their emails? That is my usual next step.

Kia Ora Sam,
Place a friendly feedback stating you have emailed, please check your spam/junk folder and make contact with me. The person may be messaging via the App and not looking at emails perhaps - Hopefully a they will respond to feedback placed - Cheers.

You can apply for a success fee refund to file a report with TradeMe, they will attempt to contact your Buyer also for you and can send the buyer your phone number to make contact. - I hope your Buyer is well. - Cheers.

At the same time Sam, send another email to your Buyer stating if no contact is made in the following days you will have to refund them and relist the dryer, otherwise storage fees are charged. - This covers you in the event you do need to refund them. - Hopefully TradeMe can establish that contact for you and all goes to plan - Cheers.

You could also contact trademe and ask them to e-mail the buyer for you. I once had a buyer who refused to communicate with me but did admit to trademe when they e-mailed them that they weren't going to complete the trade.

Yes TM will email contact the Buyer once they get the success fee refund request. - Cheers.

S,
True but I think people are more likely to ignore the generic request but a direct e-mail with a person on the other end is more likely to get a response. I've only had one success fee refund request acknowledged in the last several hundred requests.

TM doesn't seem to e-mail the buyer now if you request a success fee refund if the buyer hasn't made contact. The only option they give me now is for them to send my mobile number to the buyer & requesting they make contact. The last thing I want is for a trader who is likely not to complete trade to have my mobile number which can leave you open to scams e.t.c.

Apply for a success fee refund

We send the buyer an email:
– We'll let them know that you haven't heard from them.
– Your phone number will be included – if you chose that option.
– We'll ask them whether they'll complete the trade.
Full details are in the Link - Cheers.

My last few requests only has the option of sending them my mobile number. There is nothing there to say they will send a e-mail to the buyer. There used to be but not any more. Not sure if other sellers have had this issue ?

The only options I get is "Buyer has not made contact
We'll send your phone number to the buyer, and ask them to get in touch with you.Your phone number" No mention that they'll ask them to e-mail me like what they use to.Are you saying that the mobile phone number is only one option of contacting me & that e-mailing me is another option if I don't include my ph. number ? Cheers. It's not what I'm use to.0 -

Your Buyer will already have your email which they get given on their purchase confirmation email from TM - TM ask them if they will complete the Trade - they need to email TM back with an answer - And email, message or phone you to complete the Trade. TM don't contact Members by mobile phone, only by email - if you don't include your mobile then Yes! they just have your email to contact you through - Cheers.

Thanks for confirming this.I do realise the buyer has my e-mail adress (been selling for many years) & that TradeMe don't contact buyers by mobile phone,it's just the way you send the request contact option,it's different to the way they use to do it.But I understand it better now.Cheers.

Cheers Sam,
If you haven't yet let them know storage fees will be charged go ahead and forewarn them - pick up tomorrow or fees for storing - this may be just the warning they need as you've noted it's repeat behaviour and No! you don't have put up with it - No pickup storage fees charged or refund & relist - Cheers.
