Private Bag-NZ Post affair??

NZ Post only for Private bags. 

Private bags differ from PO box delivery in that whereas the holder of a PO box has to go to the post office in order to collect mail, the mail sent to a private bag is dispatched to the holder by a mail contractor.

Thanks Gary. just been doing some googling myself. Found a bit that said under access agreement, all couriers are allowed to deliver to both PO box and Private bags, although many courier brands will not do so

Yeah, maybe they can according to the agreement, but try and book one other than NZ Post to recognise the Private Bag address....lol

What we found some time ago with PO Box is that yes courier firms would attempt to deliver, but, they got turned away from the nzpost recipient. Most frustrating. Happened twice about 5 years ago when buyer stated any courier could deliver to it and always did. But nzpost said nope.

Having worked for NZ Post for 25 years, other courier companies besides courier post didn't have access to po boxes or private bags. The only access agreement was for letters.
