How to change the end time of listings

When listing or editing, it's on the last page.

The bar at the top with the options does not show in up in apps on either iPhone or iPad. Both devices are quite new. Does the app need updating somehow? It so, how, please?

Hi Kriss, the above screenshot is from the website rather than the app - the listing process in the app is a bit different. On the apps, the option to edit the end date and time should be the very last step on the Promote page before the 'Start my listing' button

so you cannot bring to end date forward is this true?

You can bring closing date/time forward to closer to now Janet, but not if the auction has bids or it is due to close inside 6 hours and you can't bring it forward to close inside the next 6 hours.

ok.I have I fresh WOF. But is due to run out 1 day before the end date how is that going to efect my sale.

I don't quite understand. A fresh WOF, ie a new one, is valid for at least 6 months even for older cars, and 12 months for cars since 2000, so it's not likely to run out a day before your auction ends. Anyway, you can add a seller comment under the listing with the updated WOF details.

the WOF is meant to be no more than 1 month old at time of sale.My auction is set to finish 1 day after that date.How do you think that will go.The fact that I cant bring the the finish date forward by 2or3 days is not fair. 

I cannot change the end time of my auction. I change it in 'edit listing' but it doesn't update?

Hi Troy. It looks like you successfully extended the end-time on one of your auctions about 5 minutes ago - it looks like it worked.

Im trying to reduce the time of my auction.

Can you cboose end time using the app

I am unable to change the end time of the auction, I want to extend the auction date to mid August 2022 but it won't allow anything past 25 July and time is 12.00am :(

I got the same peiblen i added a subtitle and it extended auction out a week to sunday the 18th september i want auction to close on aunday 11th i tried editing in last page it just goes back to the 18th i have no bids either ..my product will sell in last few hours of listing everytime so now i cant get much need earn till after the 18th why is this the go .i see others have complained but those answering her havnt heard what she was saying and thats even more frustrating .. i get what you r saying with the wof date etc . What can we do ..a buy a time machine off trademe .but uvmight have to wait another week to end of listing or b contact trademe and wait a whole week to hear back by then it be the end of listing..

I can't extend my time so it's not working according to your advice above. How can I change it. I thought I could do it even if there's a bid on the auction because I'm extending rather than bringing it forward. 

Once you have a bid above reserve Roger you can't edit the auction, including changing prices or end times. You may be able to add extra photos or promotions, but not any of the fixed items like title, price, description.

The time & Date can only be changed if there are No bids above the Reserve price on the Listing - you can make these changes on the last page when editing your Listing as per Gary- NZStocked's pic above https://help.trademe.co.nz/hc/en-us/community/posts/4964957219865/comments/4966545547801
