Seller pulls out after receiving payment
I won an item on 9 March, paid over the weekend, so he should have received it by Monday 14 March, but I get a email from TM that seller has pulled out. No contact from seller at all. Not a word to me that he wanted to do that, or ask if I had paid. Now I've paid, told TM I want to go ahead, I wonder if I will see my CD. He'll get a red from me if I don't. There have been enough bad trades in TM this year. And this way of reporting them doesn't work. Live chat is dead. What more is there. He doesn't answer emails either.

Did you pay by ping. TM may be arranging to refund you. It is unusual to get this info. via Trade Me and not the seller. Something must be going on for the seller to go to Trade Me for this. Maybe someone is having to isolate or something personal has happened so they cannot trade? Who knows what has happened?
The message-board isn't really a way to 'report' something. It' usually just us trade me members kicking around here. But you can get some good advice from some long time traders here. It might take some time for a reply but you can fill in the forms on trade me contact us if chat is not available....... I understand they are a little overwhelmed with queries at the moment.

I've never seen an email from Trademe saying the seller has pulled out of the sale after it's been sold. Are you sure that's what it said? Like L says, you'd need to contact Trademe and I think the Dispute resolution button beside the listing in your sold page, or inside the listing is the best place to start.

Willy, if it's been a week, which is the recommended time to wait by Trademe, it's time to click the Dispute resolution button beside the listing in your sold page, or inside the listing to contact Trademe.
Presumably you have checked you won page in case there is courier tracking info there, and checked your email spam/trash folders, and feedback.
