Success fee refund declined - what now?
AnsweredI have a problem - I applied for a success refund after selling an item but it was denied because the buyer said they would pay for it within 3 days.. however they have not paid after 4 days what can I do to get the sell success fee.

There's nothing much you could do except to keep bugging Trade Me.

Wayne, this happens so often there is an automatic process to have your fee refunded. Click in to the auction, and click on the link that says...
Once you do that, Trademe emails the other member to confirm they won't be paying. If they don't reply within 3 days, Trademe will email you and automatically refund your fees, then you can relist the item and try again.

The buyer refused at the door to buy goods wasb very aggressive and intimidating
because he read the trade wrong as it stated what was for sale1 -

Hi Beverly, sorry to read about the experience you've had. If the trades didn't go through you can definitely get the success fees back - you can apply for success fee refunds via your sold items page. Check out this Help page for further instructions.
