is there any way to withdraw an offer? i have no means of contacting the seller.
Answeredi was given the option of making an offer when the auction closed, which i did, i have heard nothing from the seller, and now i wish to proceed with another purchase, but i dont want to end up buying two of the same thing if the seller accepts the offer some time in the future, i have not found any information on how long the offer stands, and i dont remember reading it in the popup.

Hi Phil. Offers only stand for twenty four hours and if the auction has closed with no offer accepted notification and the seller has not contacted you in that time it is probably done and dusted. You can check out the offer info here

Kia Ora Phil,
Did you receive a Fixed Price Offer to accept?
Make an Offer is not available once the Listing has closed However the Seller is able to send a Fixed Price Offer out to any Bidders & watchers that remained on their Listing once it closed.
If you accepted a Fixed Price Offer you have won the auction in which case it should be in your Won items & you should have received a Confirmation of Purchase email from TradeMe. - Check your Won items & your emails including your spam/junk folder. - Also check your Lost items incase the Listing is there.
If you entered a money value yourself into a Pop up box you will want to check all the same places, emails & onsite, then make contact with a TradeMe staff member direct, with the Listing number where possible, so they can investigate what has happened here. - Make an Offer as opposed to being presented with a Fixed Price Offer to accept or decline, is only valid for the first 24hrs of being made However if the Listing closes so does the Offer made. - Cheers.

Kia Ora Phil,
I'm keen to hear what actually happened from you, whether you accepted a Fixed Price Offer or whether you entered your own monetary amount - the Make an Offer isn't available on a closed Listing nor as the Listing closed therefore if you entered your own amount in an Offer field there is a glitch in the system which needs reporting through to TradeMe staff for investigation - Cheers.

i entered my own amount, i was watching the auction as it ended, and the pop up appeared asking me if i wanted to make an offer, i did, but nothing more happened

Thanks very much Phil,
This certainly confirms a glitch in the process there which will have to be investigated to ensure it doesn't continue for other Listings - Thank you for raising your Post, if it should happen again you know to ignore the Pop up in the interim, taking a note of the Listing number to report into TradeMe staff will be helpful - If you're able to give us the Listing number for that one it will be most helpful in getting the investigation underway. - Much appreciated.
