People bidding up their friends items

Hello Selwyn. If you see shill bidding, or suspected shill bidding, please report it through to Trade Me directly. If they don't know about it, they can't act!
At the bottom of the auction page hit the Community Watch link.
You can then report it using the drop down menu for that specific issue.

How does their feedback make it obvious that they are friends driving up the price?

Not sure if it's what has happened here AJ. But sometimes you will see feedback saying "great trade" or similar immediately after the auction closed. Then it is relisted. Suspicious when feedback is left without the time for the item to be sent or collected. Also when it's a used item that the seller can't have multiples of, then it's relisted soon after............

I dont disagree with you Callum, and have seen similar suspicious feedback. However I have had people think Ive "obviously brought" feedback because they are all worded the same from similar people. I say yeh, I sold 10 things to the same person and they just copy and paste feedback - I do the same if I bulk buy. But people think its suspicious. Id like to know in the original poster's case, what the feedback was that made them think it was shill bidding to see if there is some good logic, or just some skepticism.
