Hi Tony, great that your bike sold. It does mention in the T & C that you agree to when signing up.
4.4 Comply with our policies
Auctions: When you list an Item for Auction on Trade Me, you should do so with the intention of selling this Item through the Site. Therefore you must not advertise your Item through another forum. If you remove a Listing for an Auction you'll incur a non-refundable withdrawal fee, regardless of the reason.
The reason is of course that you don't want to be a buyer that's found what they want, put it on your watchlist or bid for 10 days hoping to win, then then when you win, seller says, I sold this yesterday. I've been caught out like this so many times I never use Buy Now or bid if the seller makes any mention of selling elsewhere, or also listed on.... etc as it's too risky.

i stated on my add it is out the front of my house for sale ,,,,who reads the t&c , hell when i want somting i just hit the buy now as you would see from all of my buying , i have many things on my watchlist things i want to see how much it was sold for ,or things i will buy when i get the money to buy it ,
i will never sell on trademe again ,now you have told me about the T&C no wonder most just change the price to some thing redickulus and let the auction run out

Anthony, all of us other members have no idea what your buying history is as the name on the Community section here is not necessarily your Trademe membername and is not linked as such so there is no way to look at your feedback or listings, not like on the old messageboard when we could simply click the membername to see their feedback and listings.
