Quick list
Anyone else being driven insane by the new quick list system?. You can only quick list one item at a time. Then it takes you to the page to tell you its been relisted, click back to the page, then have to scroll down the page and click on each one. So NOT quick listing of multiple items. TM seem impossible to contact and feedback is clearly not doing anything. Bring back the old quick list system. Why make it so hard!

Do you have an Edit Tab on your Unsold page? - This allows you to select multiple Listings before selecting the Quick Relist - Or has the Edit Tab disappeared on your Unsolds?

Hi Simon and S, I have been having exactly the same problem as you, Simon.
S, I do have an Edit Tab still showing on my Unsold page, but, when I click on that, even though the blank boxes appear, then, when I tick those blank boxes, they no longer work, to do multiple listings! They haven't been working for a few weeks!
So that means I have to laboriously go through every single one of my unsold listings, to be able to relist each listing, one at a time, just like you have had to do, Simon. So, I completely understand your frustration with how long that takes!
Because I have sold a lot of my surplus Disney cards, my listing-limit has increased to 435 a week, over the next 6 weeks. But, because there is now no longer a functioning quick-relist of multiple items, I have worked out that, after I have created enough listings to reach that 435 limit, if it then took one minute to laboriously relist each one, then that would take 435 minutes (7-and-a-quarter hours every week!) to do a relist of them all! So, it is just not worth that amount of my time to create that many listings with no multiple quick-relist..
When there was an outcry, a few months ago (I think maybe back in July), on Community Post - about the lack of a quick-relist function in the new-look, and how much time it was taking to have to list auctions, one-by-one - a multiple quick-relist solution was reasonably quickly brought in, but now that quick-relist function seems to have broken!
I have just spent hours of my time, finally getting another Trade Me glitch/bug fixed on my Sold page. So now I will need to contact Trade Me, to, once again, remind them of this problem (sudden lack of quick-relist, over the past few weeks) that I had brought to their attention, a wee while ago.
So, Simon, I suggest that you, too, contact Trade Me staff, to let them know that you are also having this problem of no multiple quick-relist. To do this, go to the words Contact Us at the bottom of your Trade Me page. A blue bubble will appear on the right-hand side. Click on that blue bubble, and type-in Talk to a person. You can leave a message for a Trade Me staff-member to contact you by email, but I have found that it usually better to be able to do an online email-chat with a TM staff-member when they are open during office hours, which are:

Simon, try out using MyProducts. Like others, I was reluctant to start using it as i didnt understand it and didnt want to learn something new. However, was going away for 2 months and didnt want to lose my auction details so it was really the only option. I used to waste time each day relisting my auctions but now its all done automatically via myproducts and it saves me so much time. When you understand its concept, its so easy to use and of course had some help from this wonderful community

Hi Simon and Andrew, I had mentioned several problems - caused by the new-look - to Trade Me, a wee while ago (including the now-broken multiple quick-list problem), but, rather than fixing those problems, their only solution was to advise me to use My Products. But, in my view, Trade Me should concentrate on fixing all the problems that have been brought to their attention, instead of suggesting My Products as an easy cop-out for them, to avoid the hassle of focussing-on fixing the 3 problems that I told them about! I have no intention of using My Products, as I consider that to be a Trade Me cop-out. (And I don't want, or need, the hassle of trying to work out how to use it.)

Bonnie - I totally agree that trademe should be fixing the bugs/issues and it is poor form what has happened. However, it is what it is and everyone has a choice to either 1) try persevere with it, wait for it to be fixed (i would be holding my breath) , waste lots of time with extra work or work arounds, get frustrated, and then continuously moan/complain about it OR 2) try an alternative that takes some initial time to work out how to use, then significantly save time (even compared to when trademe was working properly) and enjoy all that free time. I am hooked onto the new look trademe but because I use myproducts am not affected one bit so my trademe experience is unchanged. The choice is anybody's if they choose.
Simon - have a look at myproducts and make your own mind up whether its a good option for you. Like some, for whatever reason It may not be and thats fine

Hi Andrew, thank you for your comment. Yes, I wouldn't be holding my breath, either, for the various new-look problems to be fixed. I appreciate you suggesting My Products, and do understand why you have chosen to use that option. But I have decided that My Products is not an option for me to use, so I have decided to just use Trade Me for the items that I have currently listed (as I am selling them for only 50c, which is not an option on another platform, as their minimum is $1), and not bother using the full extent of my current listing-limit of 435 on Trade Me, and to chose a 3rd option: which is to go to that other platform, instead, to sell anything else at $1 or more. I have been a loyal member of Trade Me, ever since 2015, and am happy to return - with many more listings - but only when - or if - the various new-look problems have been fixed.

Yes. We found if the auction was created under the new look parameters and was one of the ones that went out of date, as well as the other oddities, the quick relist option would not work. It just does not relist with the rest of them. They broke it. And please don't tell me to use my products. I just don't have the time to slog through that. My products just does not suit everyone.

I've found that the quick relist only works for the things listed the old look way all my things listed the new look way I have to still relist one by one

Hi Sammi, yes, I am having the same issue as you. It takes ages to laboriously relist items one-by-one, because of the multiple quick-relist function now being broken. Trade Me has known about this problem for several weeks now, as I brought it to their attention then, and again recently. I was hoping - with the scheduled site maintenance today, 23/10/24 - that this problem would have been fixed, as it should have taken priority, but no such luck. Extremely frustrating!

Listed a trailer for 14 days which failed to sell and had been asked to relist after item did not sell by one of two watchers, so I made a fixed price offer for seven days . That was not easy to see when it expired, then couldn't find how to relist after 7 days without using relist similar item which I did but tm charged me again $ 39.99 (trailer) so I pulled it immediately! Wth I should be able to relist it 😒? Free! Was the problem that the fixed price offer was for 2x weeks like my auction or 1 week 🤔 I don't know? Now how do I get it back listed for free??

Kia ora Debbie & Zane, you can't relist while there is a fixed price offer, or the trailer could be sold twice. One the fixed price offer has ended or you cancel it you should be able to relist your trailer by going into your unsold items. If it still isn't working for you, hop on to live chat and someone can take a look.
