Where has the packing slip gone?
AnsweredCan anyone tell me where the option to print the packing slip has gone? this was an excellent option so that both the buyer and seller had clarity on what was being sent.

It's in the email Trademe sends you when you sell something.
It's also still on the delivery address page via the link in your sold items, but only on the old site sold page.

Yes, the packing slip otion is great. Howeverone major failing with it is that it does not print and instructions that are sent with the address such as "leave at back door" etc so those important instructions can easily be lost

I am not sure if this is related to the packing slip issue, but I have sold an item with Shipping TBA in the listing. There is now no option to go into the listing and book from there so that an email is sent to rthe buyer with tracking details. There is a Book a Courier button on the sold email from Trade Me which goes to rhe listing where there is no option for Book a Courier. I have had to do it through Something Else I Want to Send, which means that my buyer doesn't get the details and I have to send them manually. Is this just me? I wonder if I am missing something.

S Community SuperuserKia Ora Jane,No you are not the only one experiencing trouble with the Book a Courier system,As the site upgrade progress's there are a few limited categories which are not yet able to use the Book a Courier system - manually booking as you have done through the 'Something Else I Want to Send' and emailing your Buyer is the interim workaround. - if you can manually enter the Tracking number in your Sold items the Buyer will be able to see this in their Won items. - Cheers.0

Yeah. TradeMe website updates are the dumbest, least user friendly web development I've ever seen. Plus, I don't know how many years it has been now, with their slow rollout of changes? I guess they know their changes break more than they improve!
As for the Packing Slip issue, I've found the only remaining link is the "Print packing slip" link on my "Purchase Complete" email notification. This, I note, points to a page named "PrintDeliveryAddress.aspx".
So, their web design team also seems to confuse "Print packing slip" functionality, with a "Print delivery address" implementation (and have forgotten to link the page on their website?).
Yep, after years of commercial web development, I'm personally at a loss as to how web development can be done so badly!
