I want to cancel my order
The listing said will be ordered in 1-5 days but I contacted the seller and he said it'll be available next week which is not possible within my timeframe that I need the phone, so am I covered by the buyers protection since the listing didn't describe it accurately. And I've won the item but it seems like i cannot do anything about it on the buyers act page on trade me. Cheers!

You are Best to discuss this with your Seller, Buyer Protection is in place for the actual Item if paid for by Ping Or Afterpay and where the item doesn't turn up, the item is not as described, or the item is faulty. - Delivery days are estimates only, as placed in the Listings and are based on Business days, not including the weekends. - This particular Listing also states <quote> Parallel Imported. Delivery in 1-7 business days! <unquote> - Given the variables it would have paid to ask a question prior to purchasing the phone.
Your Seller states in their About page <quote> If you have any special requirement or specific question regarding an order or product you have purchase, please send us an email. <unquote> Therefore you are best to communicate your concerns directly - Sellers are not obliged to refund on a change of mind - Noting your concerns your Seller may be able to help reach your aim of needing the phone more urgently. - In any case it is the Seller who issues refunds in this situation.
